El Camino Films
It is the first company, specifically dedicated to production services in Uruguay. Nicolás Aznárez and Chris Romano merged themselves in order to develop this new enterprise, after meeting and working together in A Band Apart (Los Angeles – USA), Quentin Tarantino´s mythical company.
El Camino Films based its operations in Montevideo, Uruguay and has strategic associations in Argentina and Brazil.
With more than 15 years of experience shooting in North and South America, mostly for Saxon clients, we know –first hand- what are the international requirements of the industry, in order to satisfy all needs.
With more than 50 international advertisings and vast experience in feature films, El Camino Films begins to stand out as one of the most respectable filming options and with greatest experience in Uruguay.
3 years of work (March 2007) were required so that one of the best production companies of Los Angeles (MJZ), together with Frederick Bond (top 10 best advertising directors) and Guillermo Navarro (2007 Oscar Winner for best photography, for The Ladyrinth of the Faun) chose us for the new Absolut vodka world campaign, after 16 years without doing TV commercials.
In June 2007 Brazilian O2 Filmes confirmed that we will be responsible for the production of part of the new feature film, entitled “Blindness”, of talented Fernando Meirelles, together with César Charlone (Oscar nominee for best photography, for City of God) and based on the Novel Prize winner, José Saramago. |
